Social security
Unemployment insurance is not paid over the taxes, and is not mandatory in Denmark!
When you start working in Denmark, it is your own responsibility to register with an unemployment insurance fund A-Kasse.
When you have finished your job(s) in Denmark you have to use application form E301 to transfer your insurance rights to your home country. You can find this form and other transfer forms from the Danish Pensions Agency here
Health Insurance
Everyone staying in Denmark is entitled to emergency treatment in case of illness or accidents.
When you start working in Denmark, you will be covered by the Danish health insurance but you must bring the European inssurance card or an E-form from your home country as documentation that you have been insured in your native country.
Please note that there is a 6-week waiting period before you are entitled to enter the Danish Health Insurance system.
